2018 New Year’s Resolution

New Year, New Me. lol

1. Healthy Living (Good Diet and Exercise). Kay gitagaan baya ko ug sweat-proof nga bluetooth headset ni Secret Santa, so i think it is only appropriate nga magjogging kunuhay ko. I will stop na my gym subscription baya so i will still find ways on how to keep my body moving. For the diet, well, i think i have to continue ug unsa karon. Choose what to put in my mouth and always in moderation.
2. Minimalist. (Learn to Let Go even more). I will choose to live a simple life. A colorless lol, i mean kanang simple work environment. A simple room. A simple closet. Simple choices. Anah.
3. Avoid unnecessary purchases. (pahubasa ang closet). Nabuhat nako nga wala jud ko nagpalit ug new t-shirt/jeans any piece of clothing since naabot ko ug Pinas. Akong gipalit ra jud kay kanang something important or required – rushgard, boardshorts, volleyball jersey,, etc. So I will extend it to another year. I will not buy any t-shirt whatsoever. I think I have enough clothes sa baul. And dili pud ko mopalit ug new gadget this year: any electronic gadget (kanang for leisure). So hopefully phone, stay with me a little bit longer.
4. Support AWS’ Miss Earth 2018 Rhea O’s Advocacy. Puslan man nga naa na koi metal straw, ako nalng jud ni ipush. No to Straws, No Plastic somethings, Styros, etc. Help Mother Nature. Save the turtles.
5. More time on my own and, with dogs. Somehow when you’re alone, dira nimo makita imong worth. or ang imong happiness. or ang what your heart really want. char. And i want to spend time with dogs. They can take my stress away. (ayaw lang si hachi kay mastress ko kay cgg dool para pahikap and then next scence mamaak. Kay Marley na lang please)
6. Decisive. To not be afraid to choose sides. To commit to something i believe in and actually fight for it. To not worry if i made wrong decisions , but to work on making them the correct ones.

I miss snowboarding my life away.

So it’s true.

Assignees, don’t fret. It’s true.

Accept the fact that since you are assigned in japan, enjoying your extra allowance, ang nindot nga mga view, ang free chokai practice, lots of dating work opportunities etc etc….  then you are prone to what i call – #leftOutAssignees.

Left out sa Christmas Party, Halloween Party, Sports Fest, Company Anniversary, dili mapromote, gamay increase etc. etc.

Pero you’ve got your allowance. You earn more than sa mga pinas counterparts. You’ve got those pretty pictures to post in FB. You can eat sushi or ramen whenever you’re sad. OR soul search in the beautiful shrines of Japan or walk sa mga public parks with picturesque views. Think about that.

I once said that it’s not all about the money. Yes, it was not. But it plays a big part. Only a fool will question that Snape. lol. For example given magbudget ang company ug 1k php for employees para sa isa ka activity, that is 1.6k-ish yen which is more likely one meal lang nako sa ramenan. hahaha Rahima actually did make me realize about this kay dili man daw maglain ug budget for assignees, kung unsay budget sa pinas mao sad sa japan. Dili mag-adjust (daw) . It makes sense man pud ata. Dili mainyo tanan. Something like that.

So somehow, dili ra maggarbo ang pamumuhay doon. #assigneeisNotBuhayMayaman #assigneeisNotWorkGoals

PEro if you want to be noticed sa imong effort then you should go back to the mother country. Give back. Believe me, more chances that everything you do will get noticed. Good or Bad. lol

And then comes what most returnees feel. Naanad na ug naai allowance. Nagshift na ang  (… okay another entry nalang ne. haha )

So katong mga nahiubos dira sa bansa ng mga Samurai, keep your chin up. Been there. I survived. Kamo pud. Don’t let angry emotions poison your character. Look at the bright side. Be happy. Be kind.

YEs, that’s Baldo! My Idol..

So here’s the thing, i remember that practice game sa volleyball i think Grade5 ko ani. I remember it so well. That was a blocked spike. Gispike sa among team, and i was on the cover.  The block made the ball went out of the court(for a couple of inches lang), pero sa akong kaeager kay akong gikuha. And was not so successful, it ended up so difficult para makuha sa akong other teammates. And that maldita nga lalaki namo nga kauban kay lagot kaayo sa ako ngano daw akong gikuha nga out naman unta to. THAT was just a practice game! Pisti giatay.

NAdishearten jud ko ato. I was young. I was fragile. Lol. As in, ang importante enjoy the game. Storyahon lang ug tarong gud ug unsay dapat. Dili kay magdemon-mode ka sa kasuko for a very small mistake. Words could hurt. Be mindful.

I wonder pud ngano every now and then kay mosulod ni nga particular memory sa akoa, i can’t even remember the face sa katong kateammate nako, not even the name.
